Braves and Austin Riley Agree on Record-Long Contract Extension

The talented third baseman's 10-year contract with Atlanta was revealed on Monday.

Braves third baseman Austin Riley has reached an agreement on the most lucrative contract in the organization's history, less than two weeks after playing in his first All-Star Game.

A press release from Atlanta on Monday afternoon revealed Riley, 25, has extended his contract by 10 years and $212 million, keeping him with the team through the 2032 campaign. 

Riley will receive a $15 million salary in '23, followed by $21 million in '24, and $22 million over the course of the rest of the contract 

according to the agreement, which also contains a $20 million club option for the '33 season.

According to the franchise, Riley, who is having a stellar year, will give $2.12 million of his salary to the Atlanta Braves Foundation.
