Cooking a Whole Bunch of Shrimp

You may broil whole shrimp, peeled shrimp, huge shrimp, little shrimp, anything.

If you're dealing with frozen shrimp, defrost them in cold water or a (safe) hot water bath.

I make my thawing bath in my salad spinner, then drain and spin the shrimp to season them.

You decide on the seasoning. I use this dinner as a chance to search through my spice collection and find forgotten mixes, but any of these rubs would work.

Turn on your broiler, season the shrimp, and broil on the top rack for 1–2 minutes each side, until opaque throughout.

Move the rack down a notch until you have the time correct. It may add a minute or two to your cook time, but it was already short.
