Former Cowboys LB arrested in Alabama

Rolando McClain was arrested on drug and gun charges this week.
McClain, 33, was pulled over for speeding on Highway 157 near Moulton, AL.

An officer smelled marijuana near McClain's car. Why did police search the car?McClain stated he carried a gun. McCain couldn't conceal-carry.

McClain's sixth arrest since 2011 followed. He was charged with second-degree marijuana possession, speeding, and hidden weapon possession.

Alabama's McClain was a two-time All-American. He was the Oakland Raiders' first-round draught pick in 2010 but lasted just 2 years before moving on to the Baltimore Ravens and then the Dallas Cowboys

He last played for the Cowboys in 2015, but was released in 2019 when the NFL lifted a 2016 indefinite ban for drug usage.

McClain has confessed having a drug problem. This recent arrest may increase his prison term.
