MLB responds to the news about Robinson Canó

Eight-time All-Star Robinson Canó has had a whirlwind of a season, finding himself on his third team

with the Atlanta Braves after already being designated for assignment by the New York Mets and San Diego Padres this season.

Canó, unfortunately, will once more be searching for a new place to call home after the Braves decided to designate him for assignment on Monday.

The decision was made after the Braves acquired veteran infielder Ehire Adrianza from the Washington Nationals in a deal on Monday

Canó has not been very remarkable thus far this season, hitting just.150 with one home run in 104 plate appearances. He is presently playing in his 17th MLB season

and it appears that his ability to continue playing at the MLB level may be on the line after being designated for assignment three times already this year.
