MLB World Reacts To Trade Rumors Regarding Juan Soto From Saturday

Prior to this week's trade deadline, two teams have reportedly emerged as the "frontrunners" to acquire Washington Nationals All-Star Juan Soto.

The San Diego Padres and St. Louis Cardinals top the list, according to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic.

During a recent appearance on FS1, Rosenthal stated, "The Padres and the Cardinals are the projected frontrunners." "Under general manager A.J. Preller

the Padres have proven to be a team that is tremendously proactive and has potential. To join [Fernando] Tatis, [Manny] Machado, and that strong rotation, Preller would love to obtain Soto."
