More Monkeypox; Now 5 cases in USA, 90 globally
The state of Florida is investigating what they believe to be a case of monkeypox.
According to the Florida Department of Health in Broward County, it seems likely that the patient traveled outside of the country.
NBC6 says that while the patient is in isolation, the state is working to find possible exposures.
As of Saturday, the World Health Organization had confirmed more than 90 cases around the world, five of which were in the U.S.

As of Sunday, 21 May, 12 non-endemic nations have reported 92 cases, with 28 suspected cases under investigation.
