Padres acquire Dodgers trade target

Padres acquired Brewers reliever Josh Hader at the deadline.San Diego Padres acquired Milwaukee Brewers closer Josh Hader on Monday, sending Taylor Rogers and other prospects to Milwaukee.

ESPN's Jeff Passan broke the San Diego-Hader agreement.
Passan called the Brewers' return for Hader "important."

"ESPN sources say Josh Hader's return to Milwaukee includes Taylor Rogers, Robert Gasser, Esteury Ruiz, and Dinelson Lamet. After 2023, Hader will be free agent."
