Rookie Trevor Penning of the New Orleans Saints was dismissed from practise

The offensive tackle, 23, was dismissed from a training camp practise after getting into a brawl with a colleague. This was the third post-whistle altercation the offensive tackle had in as many days.

After practise, head coach Dennis Allen said, "We don't have time for that. "Today, I sent two guys in, and we had to do our work.

As a team, we must learn how to play, prepare, and compete while also pushing ourselves to the utmost without going too far."

Two were indeed sent to the locker room, according to Allen. The inexperienced head coach stated that he discussed going too far with the entire team

The No. 19 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft went to the Saints, who selected Penning out of Northern Iowa.

Allen had praised Penning for his "feistiness," but he claimed the youngster "went it a little bit too far today."
