Wednesday, the Saints cut one tight end and signed another.
Brandon Dillon was released to make room for Chris Herndon, according to Saints News Network's John Hendrix.
Dillon joined the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent in 2019. In five games over three years, he caught one pass for 6 yards.
Last season, he had 22 special-teams snaps a game. He spent much of his time on the practise squad. The Jets added Dillon to their practise squad in 2021 but dropped him following the NFL Draft.
