Saints Wide Receiver Gets 6-Game Ban

According to ESPN NFL source Field Yates, wide receiver Kawaan Baker of the New Orleans Saints has been suspended for the first six games of the 2022 NFL season.

With a pick in the seventh round of the 2021 draught, the Saints chose Baker.

In response to these revelations, the Saints declared that Baker, who will turn 24 before the 2022 season begins, had broken the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing drugs.

The former South Alabama star spent the majority of the 2021 season on the practise squad and saw action in just two games for the Saints.

Fortunately for New Orleans, the team's wide receiver depth concerns won't be as acute in the upcoming campaign.

The Saints can afford this loss at the reserve WR position with the arrival of Jarvis Landry, the return of Michael Thomas, and the first-round selection of Chris Olave.
