San Francisco received more than 780 thousand doses of the monkeypox vaccination.

Over 780,000 vaccines will be made available Friday in response to worries that the government hasn't been fast enough .

The 1.1 million dosages provided this month will be supplemented by the 300,000 doses delivered this month.

A total of 5.5 million doses have been ordered by the federal government, which will be available by 2023.

 According to Jennifer McQuiston, the deputy director of the Division of High Consequence Pathogens and Pathology at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

More than 20,000 instances of monkeypox have been reported as of Wednesday, according to McQuiston, who claimed the virus has spread to 77 nations.
