The partner for Emma Raducanu's WTA women's doubles debut at the Citi Open has been announced.

In the WTA 250 competition at the William H.G. FitzGerald Tennis Center, the US Open champion will pair up with teenage rival Clara Tauson.

Dane Tauson has some experience as she has played doubles at a number of tournaments, including this year's Australian Open and Wimbledon last year.

The match doubles match on Monday will mark the first time Raducanu and Tauson have both played since Wimbledon,

where the former lost in the first round while the Dane exited her home Grand Slam in the second.

The top section of the draw places the pair against the third-seeded, seasoned team of Monica Niculescu from Romania and Lucie Hradecka from the Czech Republic.

If they win that match, they might go up against the winners of Sophie Chang vs. Astra Sharma and Makenna Jones vs. Sloane Stephens
