Minnesota — On Tuesday night at Target Field, the Detroit Tigers had their first opportunity to showcase a bullpen without Michael Fulmer.
Matt Manning, the starting pitcher for the Tigers, pitched five innings for the first time since April 16. He did not get into much trouble despite walking four times and striking out once.
Eric Haase, the Tigers' catcher, hit an infield single to start the seventh. Following Schoop's walk, Javier Baez, Akil Baddoo, and Greene all singled in runs after him.
