Training Camp Injury Ends Season for Broncos Veteran

Broncos' greatest dread came true. Tim Patrick has a season-ending injury in training camp.
Patrick landed awkwardly and injured himself during Tuesday's practise.

He was carried off. The crew clustered around Patrick as he was treated.
Broncos' worst nightmare has come true. Patrick's ACL is torn. He won't play this season.

Mike Klis noted, "An MRI confirmed Tim Patrick's season-ending ACL injury."
This is a Broncos trend. Tim Patrick has ruptured his ACL, joining Courtland Sutton and KJ Hamler.

"Tim Patrick tore his ACL, per @mikeklis. Tim Patrick joins KJ Hamler and Courtland Sutton as Broncos WRs with ruptured ACLs "Schefter told ESPN.

Deflating news for the Broncos. Tim Patrick has been great for Denver's offence in recent years. He grabbed 53 catches for 734 yards and 5 touchdowns last year.

The Broncos may need to add wide receivers via free agency. They'll have trouble replacing Patrick.
