VP Harris sees contraceptive concerns

Vice President Kamala Harris cautioned that repealing Roe v. Wade might lead to limitations on contraception and IVF.

According to a leaked early draft majority opinion confirmed by the court, the Supreme Court is poised to overturn Roe v. Wade. The final formal judgment is expected in coming weeks.

Jennifer Klein, director of the White House Gender Policy Council, and Julie Chavez Rodriguez, met with state legislative leaders from Colorado, New Mexico, and Nevada.

Some clinics in the Southwest experienced a 500% increase in patients after Texas' restriction on abortions after six weeks of pregnancy went into effect in September.

Governments may utilize applications that collect menstruation data or internet searches to follow a woman's reproductive history.

The fall of Roe might also lead to limits on IVF operations and contraception, including IUDs, Harris added.
